Topper Industrial (www.topperindustrial.com) is a leading material handling cart manufacturer in the United States. The new photo (Ref: CT301) is of a four wheel steering quad steer cart.
Topper Industrial Quad Steer Carts are used in conjunction with a tugging vehicle such as a tugger or Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV). A Quad Steer Cart is materials delivery cart with four wheel optimal steering capabilities. Quad Steer carts track smoothly when being pulling with multiple carts in tow. Quad Steer Carts are designed to track well and handle tight turn radiuses effortlessly.
The orange quad steer cart is being used to deliver and pickup material from a specific route along the factory floor. The Quad Steer Cart can remain attached to vehicle with multiple carts in tow. There is no need for uncoupling during delivery and pick up applications.
This quad steer is equipped with a ball hitch coupling system. This cart was developed for an automotive safety supplier that needed to incorporate new carts with their older existing tugger carts. Topper designed the quad steer with a 2″ ball hitch to make this possible while transitioning to all new carts. This eliminates any unnecessary down time for the customer.
