In the photo shared (Ref: CT302), Topper Industrial highlights their ability to design and build specialty delivery carts per customer needs.
Bi-Directional Carts can be defined as having the ability to move forward and backwards traditionally, as well as other directions.
This cart is a 41 x 58 frame work. It is expandable from those dimensions with its removable center section.
The four wheel cart is equipped with Poly Mold on Steel wheels, a retractable pintle tow package and recessed pintle ring coupler.
This Bi-Directional Cart has special features. It is Bi-directional with a fifth wheel stabilizer. With a press of a foot pedal, you are able to unlock the rear wheels and allow to push the cart sideways. Once the tow bar is extended, the lock pins are activated and will lock once the wheels are pulled straight. The fifth wheel drops to make contact with the floor to maintain straight stability.
This cart is being used in an on-the-cart assembly operation. The carts are tugged to an assembly line, where they are turned sideways, the casters are unlocked allowing the cart to go sideways, they then pull sideways via a drag chain to assemble their product on.
