The industrial cart system consists of one large mother frame cart and two or more, smaller daughter delivery carts. The daughter carts are designed to fit within the mother cart’s framework.
Topper Industrial’s Mother Daughter Cart delivery system enables endless possibilities for line-side material handling. The system gives users the ability to tow multiple Mother Carts while offering various daughter cart types to utilize the same Mother Cart frame. Once a daughter cart(s) are locked inside the Mother Cart framework, the mother and daughter carts are then able to be tugged as one. The daughter carts securely lock into the mother cart, eliminating the need for coupling and uncoupling cart trains along the work route.
Mother Daughter Carts replaces the need for fork trucks on the production line, streamlining workflows and reducing reliance on heavy machinery. The flexibility enables operators to tailor the system to meet specific operational needs. The cart delivery system allows for the seamless transport. At the assembly line, the operator easily performs a cart exchange by swapping an empty daughter cart for a full one. Workers can then directly access materials from the carts without the need for additional handling or transfer.
