Pictured is a custom heavy duty stack able steel container that was designed for a casting company. The container overall dimensions are 48” x 48”x 34.” This container was developed with the specific request that the customer did not want to load heavy castings up and over side walls. Topper’s team of skilled designers and fabricators were able to create and build this design to allow for complete access to one end. The removable sides created a resolution to the customer’s handling safety concerns. The two removable sides were also able to allow operator to close the bin when it was half full.
In this case, the foot print was determined by the customer, it was designated to match their existing 48” x 48” pallet. The Four-way fork tubes added stability to the transfer and/or stacking of the container. All Topper Containers are made of a tubular frame and formed sheet metal construction.
