Topper recently added a new product highlight photo of a Chain Steer Cart to their specialty cart photo gallery online.

See the full gallery HERE.

In the new product photo online (Ref: CT303) Topper has designed and built a chain steer cart for a customer that specializes in manufacturing gas tanks. The cart was needed to work with tall containers in a plant with tight aisle widths. Chain steering is tight radius quad steering. Once these carts are line side, they are able to turn two wheels at 90 degrees and push in side ways to the work station.

This cart is equipped with a tip-down pintle ring that is integrated into a chain steer mechanism. It is a specialty cart for the chain steering and low boy frame. “Low Boy” refers to the two drops in deck height. The drops are positioned around the wheels. This allows the deck to be cart to be extremely low when customers and applications need it.
