A Mother-Daughter Cart System is an industrial material handling solution designed to be towed by a tugging vehicle. The system features a large mother cart frame that securely houses two or more smaller daughter carts, each engineered to fit precisely within the mother cart structure. Once loaded and locked into position, the entire unit functions as a single cart that can be transported along predetermined routes throughout a facility.
Topper Industrial’s patented mother-daughter cart system features a pass-through design that keeps all wheels on the ground, eliminating the need for ramps or lifts during loading and unloading. This configuration improves ergonomics and simplifies cart exchanges on the production floor.
Multiple mother carts can be connected and towed in sequence by tugger vehicles, creating an efficient material delivery train.
