Above is a Specialty Dump Cart. This Dump Cart or Hopper was uniquely created for a transmission manufacturer. The purpose of the cart is for collecting chips at a machining center. Once the hopper cart is full it will be transported to a dump station that will lift/flip the cart over to dump the chips into their collection bin.
The cart comes equipped with 8 x 2 RS Casters and does not utilize a hitch or coupler because it functions as a daughter cart. This cart works within a Mother Daughter Cart System.
The Mother Daughter Cart system consists of one large mother cart and two or more, smaller daughter carts. The daughter carts are designed to fit within the mother cart’s frame work. Once inside, the daughter carts are locked into the mother cart.. The mother cart and daughter carts are then able to be tugged as one.
